Essential to the all round performer

Performance is essential to the all round performer and is a strong criteria at Expressions.

A minimum of three performances per year will be performed during your course, with sets, costumes, lighting, sound and musical accompaniment of a three-piece live band. A musical theatre performance will be performed in its entirety every year. The college will host an end of year showcase where many agents and directors will be invited from the world of theatre. In addition an in house showcase will be performed at our studio theatre and also taken out as a touring production locally.

Workshops will be a major part of the timetable. Working professionals will be invited to the Academy on a weekly basis to work with the students, giving them a vast knowledge from the world of theatre. This provides performance experience and allows each student to flourish, progress and develop his or her own personal technique.
